Street Fighter

Then came Street Fighter by Capcom. Unlike its more famous sequel, this version only featured two playable characters, Ryu and Ken. The only other character to make the transition to the sequal is Sagat, who is the final boss in this version. Its main innovation was its multi move joystick attacks. A version was produced for the Turbo Grafx 16 CD called Fighting Street.

Capcom released Street Fighter II in the arcades in 1991. It features 8 playable characters and 4 bosses. A version for the SNES was released in 1992. This was soon followed by Street Fighter II Turbo.

The Genesis finally got Street Fighter II C.E.

Super Street Fighter II was the final game in the series.

Capcom finally released Street Fighter III. It features fluid animation and a new fighting system.
