GP2x Archive



In 2005 Game Park Holdings released the GP2x. IT is a multimedia handheld that uses a Linux based OS.

At its core is a MAgicEyes MMSP2 MP2520F System on a Chip. IT has a 200 MHz Dual Core CPU. The host is an ARM 920T and the second processor is an ARM 940T. It has 64MB of SDRAM and 62MB of NAND Flashrom to save files.

Like its older sister, the GP32, the unit features a 320X240 screen. The Ext jack can be used to output to a TV screen.

The GP2x has a SD card slot and USB 2.0 port. It runs on 2 AA batteries or an AC adaptor.
