With the popularity of cell phone games, Nokia thought that it would corner the market by making a cell phone game system.
In addition to having the communication features of a cell phone, the system would have controls like a game system.
In 2003, they released the N-Gage.
It had all of these features and more.
It could play audio files, had bluetooth, and had PDA features.
Sadly, it did not sell as well as anticipated.
A year later they released an updated model called the N-Gage QD that was slimmer.
This did no better in the marketplace.
The N-Gage's main CPU is an ARMI chip running at 104 MHz.
It runs Symbian OS 6.1
