The NEC Super Grafx was released in 1989. It is a genuine 16-bit system. It is fully compatible with all previous PC Engine software, and can also play Super Grafx titles. Unfortunately its potential was never realized, as only 6 games were produced for the system. Thus it has the dubious distinction of being the game system with the fewest number of games. The system has arcade quality ports of 1941 and Ghouls and Ghosts. Many gamers purchase the system just to play these games. |
