Nintendo released the Virtual Boy in 1995. It was the first 32-bit handheld system. More notably, it was the first attempt at a 3D system since the ill fated Sega Scope 3D. It showed real promise in that it had separate screens for each eye, so that a true 3D effect could be achieved. Several factors caused the system's demise. The first was that the screens produced eye strain in users which in turn caused headaches. AS if that was not bad enough, the system was not in color, but rather had a red and black screen. Lastly, the system was only nominally portable, as a table was needed to support the eye visor. The following is a complete list of games for the system.
